Spring Break Fever: Cool Crafting with Kids


Spring Break conjures up dreamy visions of longer days, warmer temperatures, and fragrant cherry tree blossoms across the Lower Mainland. Why, before we know it, the dog days of summer will be upon us and the kids will be free from the confines of the school room!

But before we get too preoccupied with blissful images of a carefree summer ahead, let’s focus on the here and now. Spring Break. It’s right around the corner, and the time is now to do a little planning.

Carving out creative time with your kids is a wonderful idea! Not only are creative activities fun, they encourage visual processing and fine motor skills. They instill a sense of accomplishment, and can be tremendously rewarding and self-esteem-boosting.
